TEACH Alumni Event

A Day of Rest

The TEACH Program held its first annual Alumni Event at the Corporate Beach House. It was a sunny day and we had many activities planned, but unfortunately, we were only to play five or six games of Volleyball before we all decided to lounge lazily around the plush beach house and participate in high carb dieting. Oh sure, some of us went surfing, body boarding, and threw the frisbee around, but most of us chose to just relax and enjoy the beautiful house on the Beach. We ate plenty of Anti-Atkins food, including a large chocolate cake, which contributed to our overall lethargy. Perhaps I'm projecting, but I'm pretty certain that others would agree with my perception of the event. Then again, my perception has never been the most reliable cerebral tool in the shed. Maybe I should get another opinion..
