At SLBTS Treatment Centers, we began with a vision: to offer chemically dependent clients a special place to call their own while going through treatment for their disease; namely a place where they could turn their lives around. According to clients over the years, that goal has been reached time and time again.

Most recently, our programs have been earning national as well as international recognition. Maybe that's because so many of SLBTS clients successfully overcome their addictive behaviors. Clients learn that while there is no "cure" for chemical dependency, they have the power to change their lives and manage their disease. They have options and can make alternative choices. There is a lot I could say about being a part of SLBTS; however, I would just like to say thank you for showing me a new way to live and look at things. If it weren't for you, who knows where I would be right now, assuming I were alive, that is. I have a great amount of gratitude and the utmost respect for the kindness you have shown me and my family.

But after eight months, he was able to move out of your center to live independently, with the agreement that he would stay in close contact with his counselors. He would also attend school. Your team of hard-working counselors was there for him every step of the way.

They helped him with school papers, assisted him in meeting deadlines and gave him a place to turn whenever he needed advice. Every member of our family thanks the people of Sober Living by the Sea.
